The Mountain and The Sunflowers

Beyond the big (small) city of Sevilla are mountain ranges and beaches and rivers and fields with millions of sunflowers.

Straight out of a movie, this was the view from the lake house we stayed in. The air smelled like Colorado in fall. Burning wood fireplaces and fresh mountain air. Beyond the lake there were brush fires (because rain is scare here). But they didn't smell like the normal brush fires. They were olive trees, giving off this sweet and smoky scent. It seemed almost wrong to enjoy it so much.

I wish this picture came out better, just a small sampling of all the sunflowers along the road.
